  • When you see it, download and install the app on your mobile phone.
  • After you are done with the installation, open the app and tap on get started or sign up.
  • Using your account information sign up for your bank mobile banking and you are good to go.

However, I recommend you to first contact your bank and inquire how their mobile banking works.

For the ussd code and the sms banking, all you have to do is to get your bank ussd code or sms banking code and get started by registering using your bank account number and other information.

Can I use mobile banking without debit card?

Yes you can use mobile banking without a debit card as it is not compulsory. Depending on the bank, debit card is only used when registering for a mobile banking account, but after that you don’t need a debit card for mobile banking.

Now if you have a token hardware for your bank account, you can do away with your debit card when it comes to mobile banking.

But I recommend you to contact your bank customer service representative and inquire if debit card is very compulsory for mobile banking as banks has their different ways of banking services.

Is banking on mobile safe?

Banking on mobile is quite safe but not entirely safe as you have to do every possible means to protect your bank account.

For example you need to hide your mobile banking password from third parties else someone will comfortably login and access your mobile banking account.

But with the password and pin, it makes it quite impossible for someone to have access to your mobile banking account unless you have out your password and pin to a third party.
